Welcome to sedekah.id, an online donation platform managed by DT Peduli (a National Zakat Management Institution). By accessing and using our services, you declare that you have read, understood, and agreed to all of the following terms and conditions. This document governs the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between sedekah.id and Donors, Muzakki, and Partners.
1. Definitions
- Donor: an individual or entity that gives a donation in the form of money, goods, or services through sedekah.id.
- Muzakki: an individual or entity that fulfills zakat through sedekah.id.
- Partner: a third party that collaborates on sedekah.id / DT Peduli social and humanitarian programs.
2. General Terms
- All donations received will be distributed according to the program purpose chosen by the donor.
- sedekah.id is committed to managing zakat, infaq, sadaqah, and waqf funds in a trustworthy, transparent, and accountable manner.
- Donations that have been received are in principle non-refundable, except under certain conditions with sedekah.id's approval.
- Donations distributed through sedekah.id must come from lawful (halal) sources, not from activities that conflict with the law and sharia, and free from money laundering practices.
3. Rights and Obligations of the Donor / Muzakki
- Entitled to receive reports on the use of their donated funds.
- Obligated to provide accurate, correct, and complete data when donating.
- Fully responsible for the validity and legality of the source of the donated funds.
4. Donation Methods
Donations can be made through:
- Bank transfer / Virtual Account
- QRIS and e-wallets (GoPay, ShopeePay, and others)
- Credit card / debit card
- International payment service (USD via PayPal) for overseas donors
Donors must follow the donation procedures available on sedekah.id so that donation records are accurate.
5. Use of Funds and Amil Fee (Ujrah)
The funds collected are used to support priority programs:
- Education
- Health
- Economic empowerment
- Emergency and disaster response
- Other social and da'wah programs
Operational costs (amil fee / ujrah) are used to support fundraising, management, distribution, reporting, and donor services, with the following provisions:
- A maximum of 12.5% of total zakat funds (including muqayyad zakat)
- A maximum of 20% of total infaq/sadaqah funds (general or muqayyad)
Management refers to:
- Law No. 23 of 2011 on Zakat Management
- Minister of Religious Affairs Decree (KMA) No. 606 of 2020
- DSN-MUI Fatwa No. 8 of 2011
6. Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection
sedekah.id is committed to protecting donors' personal data in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection. Data is only used for:
- Donation administration
- Program communication
- Delivery of reports and campaign information
Data will not be distributed to other parties without written consent, except for official reporting to the relevant authorities as required by law. Full details can be found on the Privacy Policy page.
7. Donor Statement of Consent
By donating through sedekah.id, I declare that:
- All donations come from lawful (halal) funds and not from activities that conflict with the law or sharia.
- The funds I donate are legally my personal or institutional property.
- For zakat donations, the wealth I give has reached the nishab, met the haul, and comes from assets subject to zakat in accordance with Islamic sharia.
I also agree that:
- sedekah.id stores and processes my data for the purpose of donation services.
- sedekah.id may contact me about programs, reports, and campaigns through official channels.
- sedekah.id may use a portion of the funds as an amil fee (ujrah) in accordance with applicable laws and fatwas.
8. Cookie Policy
By using this site, I agree to the use of cookies for:
- Unique device identification
- Improving the user experience on the site
- Cookie storage for a maximum of 1 year, manageable through browser settings
9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
- sedekah.id may change these terms and conditions at any time.
- Changes will be announced officially through sedekah.id.
- Users are encouraged to check this page periodically.
