Spreading Joy of Eid al-Adha, DT Peduli Bekasi Distributes qurban to Cahaya Mulia Disability Foundation

DTPEDULI.ORG | BEKASI – On Thursday (28/05/2026), the National Zakat Management Institution (Laznas) Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Bekasi once again distributed the qurban mandate from the mudhohi (qurban donors) to people in need. On the occasion of Eid al-Adha this year, DT Peduli Bekasi held a qurban animal slaughtering and distribution event at Cahaya Mulia Disability Foundation, located in Kampung Nanggewer, Kedungwaringin District, Bekasi Regency.

This activity is part of DT Peduli Bekasi's program to ensure that the joy of Eid can be felt by all segments of society, including people with disabilities who are often overlooked in the distribution of assistance.

Since early morning, the DT Peduli Bekasi team together with volunteers and foundation administrators worked together to prepare the slaughtering process. The arrival of the qurban animals was welcomed with great enthusiasm and emotion by the administrators and residents of Cahaya Mulia Disability Foundation.

Arif Hidayat, DT Peduli Bekasi Program Team, conveyed that this is the institution's commitment to bringing about social justice through inclusive programs. "We want to ensure that the best qurban meat from the qurban donors does not only accumulate in urban areas, but also reaches our brothers and sisters at disability foundations. They have the same right to enjoy delicious food and feel the care of others on this blessed day," he said.

The process of slaughtering and packaging qurban meat was carried out while maintaining hygiene standards and Islamic Sharia. Packages of qurban meat were successfully distributed directly to people with disabilities, orphans, and dhuafa in the area around the foundation.

Broto, Chairman of Cahaya Mulia Disability Foundation, expressed deep gratitude and thanks for the care shown by DT Peduli and the qurban donors.

"We are very grateful to DT Peduli. For the children and residents here, the arrival of this qurban meat is not merely food assistance, but a form of attention that is very meaningful. The smiles on their faces today are concrete evidence of the blessing of your qurban," said Broto.

Through this qurban program, DT Peduli Bekasi hopes to continue bridging goodness between muzakki or mudhohi and mustahik in a targeted, transparent, and widely impactful manner.

The activity at Cahaya Mulia Disability Foundation is one of many qurban distribution points of DT Peduli Bekasi, spread across various remote areas and vulnerable communities.
