DT Peduli Cirebon's Mentored Santri Complete Ziyadah of 30 Juz Al-Qur'an at Ponpes Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Indramayu

DTPEDULI.ORG | INDRAMAYU - One of the students from the Qur'an Memorization House Program of Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Cirebon has successfully completed the ziyadah memorization of 30 juz of the Qur'an. The tasmi' and ziyadah activities were held at the Mosque of Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School on Wednesday (06/05/2026).

The student's name is Raifan Akbar Putra, who is currently 17 years old. He has been pursuing the tahfidz program for three years through a collaboration between DT Peduli Cirebon and Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School.

Raifan expressed that his motivation in memorizing the Qur'an is solely to seek the pleasure of Allah SWT. Furthermore, he wishes to become part of Allah's family on earth, hoping for the intercession of the Qur'an on the Day of Judgment, and to attain the highest degree in paradise. "I want to give a crown of honor to my parents in paradise," said Raifan.

Nevertheless, the journey of memorizing the Qur'an is not always easy. Raifan admitted that he had to face various challenges such as laziness, procrastination habits, difficulty maintaining focus and consistency, and boredom during murojaah memorization. He also acknowledged that he is still learning to manage his time well and to fight off drowsiness when reciting his memorization.

Raifan has a dream of becoming a legal expert who is also a hafidz of the Qur'an. According to him, religious knowledge and worldly knowledge should go hand in hand in order to provide greater benefit to the ummah.

Meanwhile, Baha, as an Ustaz and Program Mentor from Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Islamic Boarding School, expressed appreciation for this achievement. He hopes that Raifan's success can serve as motivation for other students.

"Hopefully, with a student like Raifan Akbar, it can inspire the spirit of fellow students to be able to complete the Qur'an, especially friends at Al-Urwatul Wutsqo Pesantren and other pesantrens as well," he said.

Through the Qur'an Memorization House Program, DT Peduli Cirebon continues to be committed to producing a generation of Qur'an memorizers who are not only strong in memorization, but also possess noble character and the spirit of spreading benefit to society.
