Restore Worship Facilities After Kemayoran Fire, DT Peduli Jakarta Distributes Audio Equipment for Al-Fajr Mushola

DTPEDULI.ORG | JAKARTA – As a manifestation of sustained concern for the recovery of public facilities following disasters, the National Zakat Collection Institution (Laznas) DT Peduli Jakarta has realized its commitment to provide assistance for the reconstruction of places of worship in the densely populated Kemayoran area, Jakarta, which was recently affected by a fire disaster.

This humanitarian intervention is focused on the recovery of da'wah systems and religious propagation through the distribution of a complete audio equipment package for Mushola Al-Fajr, on Thursday (11/6/2026). The assistance delivered directly includes an amplifier machine (amplitude), microphone, and loudspeaker (TOA speaker), replacing the worship operational facilities that were destroyed by fire.

The loss of loudspeaker facilities had temporarily hindered the call to congregational prayer activities in the densely populated area. A community leader and representative of the mushola management, Heri, expressed deep gratitude for the swift action from DT Peduli in understanding the most fundamental needs in reviving the spiritual pulse of local residents.

"We are very grateful to the donors and the DT Peduli Jakarta team for this audio equipment assistance. Since the fire disaster occurred, we have had difficulty broadcasting the call to prayer widely because all previous equipment was completely damaged. Alhamdulillah, with the help of this new amplifier, microphone, and TOA speaker, Mushola Al-Fajr can once again broadcast the call to prayer loudly and residents can gather for congregational prayer again," said Heri with deep emotion.

DT Peduli is committed to continue overseeing the recovery of the affected area from the emergency response phase to the social and religious reconstruction phase. Jakarta Program Manager of DT Peduli, Ibnu Sofyan Ats-Tsauri, explained that the provision of audio equipment is part of a series of institutional mentoring processes to ensure that the social function of the mushola does not stop for too long.

"The distribution of audio facilities for Mushola Al-Fajr in Kemayoran is our commitment to overseeing every stage of post-disaster recovery. We understand that loudspeakers, microphones, and amplifiers are the heart of propagation in mosques and musholas. Through meeting these needs, we hope that the psychological and spiritual aspects of fire survivors can quickly recover as worship activities resume properly," explained Ibnu Sofyan Ats-Tsauri.
