Honoring Orphans and Dhuafa, DT Peduli Lubuklinggau Invites Children from TPA Binjai and Orphanages for Happy Shopping

DTPEDULI.ORG | LUBUKLINGGAU - In honor of orphaned children during the month of Muharram, Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Lubuklinggau held the Happy Shopping Muharram Program at Hypermart Lubuklinggau, Saturday (18/7/2026). The activity was attended by orphaned children and dhuafa from orphanages and the Binjai Final Waste Disposal Site (TPA) area.

This program was implemented through collaboration between DT Peduli Lubuklinggau, Niqab Squad Lubuklinggau, Sinergi Sedekah Sehari (S3) Lubuklinggau, PT Cordoba Berkah Lubuklinggau, and support from donors who have entrusted a portion of their sustenance to bring happiness to orphaned children and dhuafa.

The series of activities began with a communal meal attended by all participants, volunteers, and facilitators. Afterward, the children were invited to shop for various personal necessities accompanied by volunteers.

Each participant was given the opportunity to choose items they needed themselves, ranging from bathing supplies, daily necessities, snacks, to beverages. This approach was taken to provide a pleasant shopping experience while fostering confidence and independence in the children.

In addition to shopping, participants also took part in a donut decorating activity that took place in a warm atmosphere. The activity concluded with the distribution of assistance to all children as a form of care for orphaned children and dhuafa during the month of Muharram.

Andian Pradita, Head of DT Peduli Lubuklinggau Service Office, stated that the Happy Shopping Muharram Program is not merely providing assistance in the form of goods, but also presenting an experience that brings happiness to the children.

"We want the children to feel that they are loved and cared for, so we not only provide assistance packages, but invite them to choose the necessities they want themselves. We hope this simple moment can bring happiness, foster confidence, and become a beautiful memory that they will remember. May every step of goodness become a means for blessings to come to the donors and all parties who have collaborated with DT Peduli," said Andian.

He also expressed appreciation to all collaborative partners who supported the implementation of the activity.

This collaboration proves that when many parties unite in goodness, the benefits felt by the community will be even wider. Through the Happy Shopping Muharram program, DT Peduli Lubuklinggau hopes that the spirit of sharing in the month of Muharram can inspire more people to care for orphaned children and dhuafa. Because every trust entrusted by donors not only becomes assistance, but also transforms into smiles, hope, and happiness for those in need.
