Muharram Sharing Hope, DT Peduli Malang Holds Cooking Class and Provides Assistance for Orphaned Children

DTPEDULI.ORG | MALANG – Joy and enthusiasm for learning radiated from the faces of orphaned children as they participated in the Muharram Berbagi Harapan Program titled "Santunan & Cooking Class" organized by Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Malang on Friday (10/7/2026). Held at Seven Chicken Soekarno Hatta, Malang City, the children were invited to experience something new by learning to make burgers while directly observing the food preparation process in the kitchen area. This activity is part of the series of Muharram Berbagi Harapan Programs regularly held by DT Peduli Malang every Muharram month. Through an educational and enjoyable concept, this activity is expected not only to bring happiness to orphaned children, but also to provide new experiences that can foster confidence, creativity, and enthusiasm to continue learning.

"Muharram is a month that teaches us to care more for orphaned children. We want to bring happiness that is not only in the form of santunan, but also new experiences that they may have never felt before. Through this Cooking Class, children can learn, create, and build confidence. We hope this activity becomes a beautiful memory while increasing their enthusiasm to continue learning and pursuing their dreams," said Joko Cahyono.

Synergy between social institutions, the business world, and the community is expected to continue so that more benefits can be felt by those in need, especially during the special moment of Muharram month.
