When Vegetable and Fruit Packages Bring Smiles to the Land of Gaza
Distribution Detail
DTPEDULI.ORG | BANDUNG – The morning sun in Deir al-Balah lately often greets with an anxious silence. In a land torn by sorrow, a basket of fruit or a bundle of vegetables transforms into a symbol of survival, good news that brings smiles to the faces of children who have long forgotten what it feels like to be full with joy.
In the Al-Wusta area, precisely around the Masjid Daarut Tauhiid Gaza and the crowded refugee tents, thousands of souls continue to weave hope. Amid the onslaught of increasingly tight food shortages, every second is a struggle to ensure the kitchen remains smoking.
That morning, Thursday (6/8/2026), fate brought a touch of coolness. The swift steps of volunteers cut through clouds of dust, carrying smiles and packages of humanitarian aid woven from the care of the Indonesian people.
Continuing the Breath of Life in the Land of the Prophets
As many as 890 packages of fresh vegetables and fruits changed hands. From the warm hands of volunteers, these gifts flowed into the embrace of Palestinian families in need. Behind those 890 packages, there were approximately 4,200 souls who that day could smile with relief, take a long breath, and enjoy nutritious meals with their loved ones.
Smiles of happiness enveloped the distribution process that took place in an orderly and warm manner. The sincerity of the donors was clearly imprinted in the soft prayers uttered by the akhwat and ikhwan volunteers in the field.
"Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. We from Yayasan Daarut Tauhiid (Peduli) express our deepest gratitude to the donors. We hope this goodness continues," said a female volunteer with a soft tone full of emotion.
For the people of Gaza, this care manifests as a bridge of compassion that strengthens the fortress of their patience in protecting the land of Gaza.
