Behold the Qurban Cattle from DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya for Those in Need

DTPEDULI.ORG | METRO - On Thursday morning (28/05/2026), the atmosphere at the yard of Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Metro office felt different. The sound of takbir echoed softly, blending with the busyness of DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya who helped each other prepare the qurban animal slaughtering process. There were no barriers, everyone was immersed in one feeling, namely gratitude.

One head of cattle for qurban to be slaughtered came from four DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya, namely Royyan Akbar, Suprapto, Aris Setiawan, and Neneng Nisa. For DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya, qurban is not merely an annual routine, but a lesson about struggle, sincerity, and sacrifice. All of that feels more beautiful when done together.

Several santri karya were seen holding bags of meat with smiling faces. There was a touching feeling that was hard to explain. Some of them had once been in the position of benefit recipients. Now, they are learning to become part of those who distribute benefits.

Royyan Akbar said that qurban teaches humans not to love the world too much. "Sometimes we work hard to earn sustenance, until we forget that there is far greater happiness when we can share. Qurban reminds us that wealth is merely a trust," he said.

Meanwhile, Aris Setiawan conveyed that the spirit of qurban should become a culture in daily life. "It's not just about slaughtering animals, but how we slaughter selfishness, the desire to possess alone, and learn to care for others," he expressed.

In the midst of this activity, the atmosphere felt warm. DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya helped each other distribute qurban meat to the community, while holding onto one simple hope, that blessings continue to flow for everyone.

Parini, one of the benefit recipients, expressed gratitude and appreciated DT Peduli Metro Santri Karya who had performed qurban and distributed it to those in need. "Barakallah for Mbak Neneng and DT Peduli, may you continue to spread benefits for the ummah," she said.
