Distribution Detail
DTPEDULI.ORG | SURABAYA - A social activity titled Jum'at Berkah was held again at Masjid Ad Da'wah, Rewwin. This activity not only provided meals for the congregation, but also opened a space for compassion towards our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Led by Asep Andri Wahyudi as the activity coordinator along with Alvi, they carried out the program with great enthusiasm on Friday (22/05/2026).
Interestingly, the meals distributed were supported by Nita Jaya Catering, which has consistently been a regular donor in this charitable program. This support has been one of the keys to the program's sustainability, so its benefits can continue to be felt by the wider community.
Beyond just sharing food, this activity also became a moment to invite the community to contribute further through sedekah donations of meat for Palestine. The team actively conveyed the importance of global compassion, especially towards communities facing humanitarian crises.
Andri conveyed that the Jum'at Berkah Program is not merely a routine agenda, but also a tangible form of compassion that is hoped to spread to more people.
"We want to bring simple happiness every Friday, while also inviting the community to take part in helping our brothers and sisters in Palestine," he said.
The enthusiasm of the community was evident from the positive response given, both when receiving meals and when participating in fundraising. The warm interaction between the team and the community also proved that the spirit of sharing is still growing strong in urban life.
Through this activity, DT Peduli Surabaya hopes that more parties will be moved to contribute to charitable actions, so that its benefits are not only felt around the mosque, but also reach Palestine.
