Gaza Water Week Returns, Seven Days of Delivering Water for Life in Gaza

BANDUNG — Access to clean water remains one of the urgent needs for the people of Gaza, Palestine. In response to this situation, DT Peduli has once again taken part in the Gaza Water Week movement, which runs for seven days on September 9–15, 2026.

In the previous implementation, 1,078,000 liters of clean water were distributed and reached approximately 218,000 people in Gaza. Now, the movement is being continued to flow water and hope to the people of Palestine.

Director of Impact & Civilization, Fahrizal Amir stated that the provision of water is one of the concrete forms of DT Peduli's contribution in meeting the basic needs of the Gaza community.

"Allah has entrusted DT Peduli to be able to jointly own one water factory that collaborates with NPC in the Gaza City area. This is what becomes the means of providing drinking water assistance for our people and brothers and sisters in Gaza," said Fahrizal, Wednesday (9/9/2026).

This collaboration scheme is part of the implementation of Gaza Water Week, which is expected to maintain sustainable access to drinking water for those in need.

According to Fahrizal, the provision of water and food is part of the basic needs that are the focus of DT Peduli in its plan to contribute to Palestine.

Through Gaza Water Week, DT Peduli invites the community to strengthen their concern for Palestine once again. Because every flow of water that reaches the people of Gaza is not merely meeting basic needs, but also a concrete manifestation that care and hope for Palestine must never stop flowing.
