DTPEDULI.ORG | SUKABUMI - Tears of joy and gratitude beamed from the faces of the residents of Cipancer Village, Jampang Tengah District, Sukabumi Regency. After two years, the community in the village finally experienced the blessing of qurban meat distributed by Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Sukabumi on Thursday (28/05/2026).

For some people, qurban meat may be a dish that arrives every year. But for 70 heads of families (KK) in Cipancer, that moment is a happiness that has long been awaited. Economic limitations and the scarcity of qurban animals entering their area made residents rarely enjoy qurban meat.

"Usually there is only one qurban animal from the neighboring village that is distributed to around 70 heads of families," said Usep, one of the community leaders in Cipancer Village.

This year, that happiness came through the trust of donors channeled by DT Peduli Sukabumi, one of which is from Badiuzzaman Berbagi. Traveling approximately 38 kilometers, the DT Peduli Sukabumi team brought 11 qurban sheep to be slaughtered and distributed to the residents of Cipancer Village.

The team's arrival was welcomed enthusiastically by residents. Children, parents, and community leaders gathered to witness the slaughtering and distribution of qurban meat. The atmosphere that had only been a hope until now truly came to their village.

The Head of RW 08, Utom Mustopa, was moved by the attention given to his residents. "This is the first time there has been 11 qurban animals here. We are very grateful and thankful to all the donors. May Allah reward all their kindness with blessings and a long life," he said.

Bags filled with qurban meat were then distributed to residents of RT. 28 and part of RT. 29. It was not just meat that was received, but also happiness, attention, and care felt by the community.

In the midst of the limitations they face, Eid al-Adha 2026 became a very memorable moment. The smiles on the faces of the residents bear witness that the kindness of the donors has brought real happiness, even to remote areas that are rarely touched.

Qurban is not just about sharing meat, but also about bringing hope, strengthening brotherhood, and ensuring that happiness can be felt by anyone, anywhere.
