DT Peduli Yogyakarta and KOPMU DT Launch Essential Oil Farmer Care Program in Purworejo

DTPEDULI.ORG | YOGYAKARTA – DT Peduli Yogyakarta officially launched the Prosperous Farmer Care Program for Essential Oil in Wonosri Village, Ngombol District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java, on Tuesday (23/6/2026). This activity marks the initial step in supporting the development of agricultural potential in the community through the cultivation of economically valuable essential oil plants.

In this program, beneficiaries receive various forms of support, ranging from cultivation training, provision of essential oil plant seeds, fertilizer assistance, operational support for distillation, to regular mentoring and consultation. This program is expected to increase farmers' capacity while opening new business opportunities through processing agricultural products into essential oil products.

The head of the beneficiary group, Supri, expressed his appreciation for the presence of this program.

"We are very grateful for this program. The assistance provided is not only in the form of facilities, but also knowledge and mentoring so that we can manage this business better. Hopefully in the future it can improve the welfare of farmers," he said.

Through the Prosperous Farmer Care Program for Essential Oil, it is hoped that the community will be able to develop local potential sustainably and create new sources of income for farming families.
