DT Peduli South Sumatra Distributes Medical Treatment Assistance for Arkhan's Heart Disease

DTPEDULI.ORG | PALEMBANG - Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli South Sumatra (Sumsel) has once again distributed assistance to support the medical treatment of Arkhan, a seven-year-old boy suffering from a heart defect. The distribution was carried out on Thursday (20/8/2026) at Arkhan's residence located on Jalan Irigasi, Ilir Barat I District, Palembang City. Arkhan has been known to suffer from a heart defect since he was one year old. Previously, he underwent his first heart surgery at Harapan Kita Hospital. After the surgery, Arkhan's condition gradually improved and he is now able to engage in activities like other children his age, ranging from attending school, taking private lessons, to Quranic studies. Despite his improving condition, Arkhan still needs to undergo regular check-ups and take medications prescribed by his doctor. Currently, Arkhan is also preparing himself to undergo his second heart surgery.
