DT Peduli South Sulawesi Distributes Basic Necessities Packages to Mustahik Migrants from East Nusa Tenggara

DTPEDULI.ORG | MAKASSAR — While waiting for the long-awaited results of the Civil Servant Selection with Work Agreement (PPPK) from the Ministry of Social Affairs, Purnomo, a resident of Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, who now lives in Makassar, received a Basic Necessities Package from Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli South Sulawesi.

The assistance was distributed through the Program Peduli Kebutuhan Mustahik at the DT Peduli South Sulawesi Office on Wednesday (22/7/2026). The basic necessities package containing daily essentials is expected to ease Purnomo's burden while waiting for the selection results announcement.

Purnomo came to Makassar to take the CAT PPPK test for the Ministry of Social Affairs. After the test, he decided to stay in Makassar because if he passes, he will proceed directly to the next stage. However, since he is not yet employed and does not have a steady income, he is facing difficulties meeting basic needs.

Previously, Purnomo had submitted an assistance request to DT Peduli Central and was directed to follow the procedure at DT Peduli South Sulawesi. He then requested assistance according to his situation. The assistance was immediately handed over at the DT Peduli South Sulawesi Office and was accompanied by DT Peduli South Sulawesi Program Staff, Fergiawan.

"Alhamdulillah, thank you very much to DT Peduli South Sulawesi for the assistance provided. It is very helpful to me during this waiting period," said Purnomo.

Fergiawan, DT Peduli South Sulawesi Program Staff, conveyed that this program exists to ensure that no mustahik struggles alone. "We hope this assistance can lighten the burden a little and be an encouragement for Mr. Purnomo to continue striving. May the selection process and his life be made easier," said Fergiawan.

DT Peduli South Sulawesi also invites the community who have excess sustenance to continue supporting the Humanitarian Program for those who are struggling, including job seekers who are away from home.
