DT Peduli Serang Holds Free Haircut Program with Terasya Eat and Meet in Serang City

DTPEDULI.ORG | SERANG - A free haircut program was held by Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Serang at Terasya Eat and Meet located in Cipocok Jaya District, Serang City. This is one form of care for the surrounding residents, especially for people in need of free haircut services.

Since Friday morning (08/05/2026), residents began arriving to participate in the program, ranging from adults to school children. DT Peduli Serang volunteers and barbers on duty appeared to serve the community with friendliness and enthusiasm.

Kiki, one of the program beneficiaries, is a student who just came home from school. After being picked up by his mother from school, Kiki was immediately taken to the activity location to get a free haircut. Kiki sat in the barber's chair enthusiastically while waiting for his hair to be trimmed by the officer.

After getting a haircut, Kiki looked happy and more confident with his new appearance. A wide smile appeared on his face when he saw the result of his haircut in the mirror. "I'm so happy after getting a haircut, now I look handsome," said Kiki with a shy smile.

Kiki's mother also expressed her happiness with the program because it greatly helps the community, especially for school children to maintain a neat appearance without having to spend extra money.

Fardan Fauzi, Head of DT Peduli Serang Office, stated that this free haircut program is part of social activities and community service. According to him, this program not only provides direct benefits but also strengthens relationships and care among residents.

"We want to be present and provide different benefits. Usually our Friday Blessing Program distributes rice to the surrounding community, but this time we are providing free haircut services. This free haircut activity is a form of social care while helping residents to maintain a neat appearance and confidence, especially school children," said Fauzan.

He also added that the program will continue to be carried out regularly every Friday during May 2026 so that more people can benefit from it. In addition to free haircut services, his office also plans to present other social activities that are beneficial to residents in the future.

Edwin, a Beneficiary of the Free Haircut Program, also hopes that similar social activities can continue because they are considered very helpful and have a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
