DT Peduli Distributes Qurban Meat to Hundreds of Refugee Families in Syria
Distribution Detail
DTPEDULI.ORG | BANDUNG – National Zakat Amil Institution (Laznas) DT Peduli distributed qurban meat assistance to hundreds of Palestinian and Syrian refugee families in various refugee camps in Syria, Wednesday (27/5/2026). This humanitarian action targeted conflict survivors who are currently living in dire conditions and facing food shortages.
After slaughter, the qurban meat was immediately packed into DT Peduli distribution bags and sent using humanitarian fleet vehicles. Distribution was carried out evenly to several refugee camp locations, including Deir Ballouth Camp in Idlib, Handarat Camp in Rif Idlib, Annairab Camp in Aleppo, as well as Yarmouk Camp, Khan Syih Camp, Jaramana Camp, and Esbena Camp located in the Rif Damascus region. The total number of beneficiaries from this program reached approximately 460 refugee families.
To ensure the trust of donors reaches the right hands, DT Peduli collaborated with the Indonesia-Syria Friendship Humanitarian Institution (PISY). PISY Advisor, KH. Zulkifli Ali, directly led the distribution process in the Atma area, a region on the Syria-Turkey border.
"Alhamdulillah, we are distributing sedekah meat from Daarut Tauhiid, packed into our bags. Insyaallah, right after this we will deliver it to the mukhayamat, the place where our Palestinian refugee brothers and sisters are," said KH. Zulkifli Ali at the distribution location.
He also conveyed prayers and hopes that the worship deeds of the qurban performers in Indonesia would be accepted by Allah SWT.
"May the deeds of our brothers and sisters who entrusted their wealth through DT Peduli receive rewards that are multiplied many times over in the sight of Allah," he added.
This assistance brought great joy to the refugees. Due to the prolonged economic crisis, meat has become a luxury commodity that they rarely can enjoy. One of the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude for the concern of the Indonesian people.
"Alhamdulillah, we are very grateful to receive this qurban meat. Our family has not enjoyed meat for a long time due to the limitations we face. This assistance not only fulfills our food needs, but also brings happiness amid difficult conditions. We express our deepest gratitude to our brothers and sisters from Indonesia," he said emotionally.
