DT Peduli Distributes Medicines for Earthquake Refugees in Sikka

DTPEDULI.ORG | SIKKA – DT Peduli distributed medical aid to residents affected by the earthquake in Dusun Namandowi and Dusun Nangehale, Nangehale Village, Talibura District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, Saturday (15/8/2026).

A total of 80 heads of household (KK) benefited from the medical aid package distributed to help meet the health needs of earthquake-affected residents.

Ragil, Head of DT Peduli Mataram, explained that at the evacuation site, residents' conditions remain concerning. Lighting is unavailable and evacuees must rest without tents and with makeshift bedding. Until now, they have not been able to return home because their residences are not yet habitable.

Handling and data collection of earthquake impacts in several areas of East Nusa Tenggara are still ongoing. Affected residents need support, especially to meet basic needs while in evacuation centers.
