DTPEDULI.ORG | JAKARTA - The National Amil Zakat Institution (Laznas) Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Jakarta has once again distributed assistance in the health sector through a real action initiative titled Peduli Sehat Sesama. This program was realized in the form of providing stimulus fund assistance for the purchase of special medicine packages, as well as medical support vitamins for Budi Ertanto, a resident of the Hankam area, West Jakarta, on Wednesday (03/06/2026).

This health assistance was distributed directly as a form of psychosocial and financial support, to sustain the long series of medical efforts being undertaken by the beneficiary in the process of recovery from a cancer diagnosis.

Long-term treatment costs and non-covered supportive medication needs often become a heavy burden for cancer survivors among the dhuafa. Budi Ertanto, as the beneficiary, expressed deep emotion and gratitude for the medical logistics attention provided by donors through DT Peduli Jakarta.

"I would like to express my deepest gratitude to DT Peduli and all donors who have cared about my health condition. In the midst of my struggle against cancer, this assistance with medicines and vitamins is very meaningful for the continuation of my treatment. This has become additional motivation and strength for me to continue striving to achieve recovery," said Budi Ertanto.

The distribution of this assistance is part of the institution's responsive strategy in ensuring that underprivileged communities suffering from chronic diseases continue to have access to proper and sustainable treatment. Program Manager of DT Peduli, Ibnu Sofyan, explained that the Peduli Sehat Sesama Program was specifically designed to mitigate financial health risks in vulnerable family clusters.

"The distribution of assistance from the Peduli Sehat Sesama program for Mr. Budi Ertanto in the Hankam area is our concrete commitment in accompanying patients with high-risk diseases. We understand that the struggle against cancer requires considerable supporting costs. Through this assistance in procuring appropriate medicines and vitamins, we hope to ease his burden and optimize the process of physical recovery on an ongoing basis," explained Ibnu Sofyan.
