DT Peduli Jakarta Distributes Health Assistance for Darren, Sufferer of Rare Heart Disease

DTPEDULI.ORG | JAKARTA - A small smile has returned to the face of Darren, a resilient toddler in Central Jakarta who is fighting against a rare heart disease. In the midst of his long medical treatment journey, Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Jakarta came forward to lend a hand through the Health Care Program to ensure the fulfillment of vital needs, ranging from free medical treatment to specialized nutritional support. Through this concrete action, the DT Peduli Jakarta team directly accompanied the process of purchasing supplemental milk, special vitamins, and medications needed by Darren at the pharmacy on Tuesday (12/8/2026). This assistance has become crucial support to maintain Darren's physical condition and weight stability while undergoing a series of medical procedures. Ibnu, as Manager of DT Peduli Jakarta Program, emphasized the importance of quick intervention for children with critical illnesses, including those from underprivileged families.

"Rare heart disease like what Adik Darren is experiencing requires very intensive treatment, not only from surgical procedures or basic medications, but also adequate supplemental and specialized nutritional intake which is relatively expensive. Through the Health Care Program, we strive to be present accompanying this struggle so that Adik Darren receives the best nutritional and medical care," said Ibnu. Regarding the technical aspects of aid distribution in the field, Wardah Hafiza from the DT Peduli Jakarta Program Team conveyed that accompaniment will continue to be carried out regularly.

"We ensure that all additional medical needs, ranging from pharmacy prescription fulfillment, purchase of special milk, to supporting vitamins are well met. We want Adik Darren's parents to focus on their child's recovery process without having to worry about the daily supporting costs that continue to accumulate," she explained while accompanying Darren's family in Central Jakarta. Deep gratitude and joy were expressed by Vera, Darren's mother, for the care and swift assistance provided by DT Peduli Jakarta and the donors.
