DT Peduli Garut Distributes Health Assistance for Children with Kidney Cancer
Distribution Detail
DTPEDULI.ORG | GARUT - Amid his struggle against illness, little Afzal's small smile brings hope once again. He is a four-year-old child undergoing treatment for Wilms tumor or kidney cancer.
On Wednesday (5/8/2026), Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Garut distributed the first phase of health assistance for Afzal to his residence in Kampung Nagrak, RT 02, RW 01, Desa Cibiuk Kidul, Kecamatan Cibiuk, Kabupaten Garut.
Sandi, Staff Program of DT Peduli Garut, expressed gratitude for the support of donors so that assistance could be channeled to Afzal's family. "Alhamdulillah, thanks to donations from all Sahabat Peduli, on this occasion we distribute especially to Afzal and the family of Pak Gaza. May this be a glimmer of hope for Pak Gaza's family and become a means of healing for Afzal," he said. Although the family's economic condition is limited, Afzal's family continues to strive to accompany the treatment process. His father, Gaza, works as a construction laborer when he gets work calls. When there is no work, he helps his mother sell fried snacks to meet the family's needs.
For the family, support from donors is not only material assistance, but also reinforces that they are not alone in facing this trial. Gaza expressed his gratitude to DT Peduli Garut and all Sahabat Peduli who have given attention and assistance for Afzal's treatment. He hopes that this support can help Afzal undergo treatment better and be granted healing by Allah SWT. "Thank you to DT Peduli and all donors who have cared and helped Afzal. May all your kindness be rewarded by Allah SWT and may Afzal be granted healing," said Gaza. This distribution is part of a collective effort to ease Afzal and his family's struggle. DT Peduli Garut hopes that the concern from donors continues to be energy for Afzal's family in going through the long treatment process.
