DT Peduli Garut Supports Khotmil Qur'an Activity at Garut Regency Hall

DTPEDULI.ORG | GARUT — The melodious recitation of the sacred verses of the Qur'an filled the Garut Regency Hall during the Khotmil Quran and Tahfidzh Student Award event by the DPD FKPQ Garut Regency, on Thursday (27/8/2026). Carrying the theme "Grounding the Qur'an, Realizing a Qur'anic Generation, for a Blessed and Accomplished Garut", this activity became a momentum to appreciate the students who have strived to memorize the Qur'an while strengthening the spirit of the emergence of a Qur'anic generation in Garut Regency. A total of 216 child Qur'an memorizers from various Al-Qur'an educational institutions, tahfidz houses, Al-Qur'an Kindergartens (TKQ), and other institutions attended the event. The spirited faces of the student memorizers reflected that the tradition of memorizing and loving the Qur'an continues to grow among the people of Garut.

Before hundreds of Qur'an memorizing students, drg. Putri Karlina also expressed her emotion and admiration for the hafidz and hafidzah who have chosen the path to preserve the word of Allah. "I say honestly, I am very envious of the children of Qur'an memorizers present here. Because when I was still busy thinking about the world and felt I did not have the best deeds to reach paradise, these Qur'an memorizers have already prepared the best offering for their parents in paradise later," she continued. This message served as a reminder that the journey of memorizing the Qur'an is not only about the ability to remember verse after verse, but is also a form of worship and honor that is hoped to become a gift for parents in the future. As a form of appreciation and motivation, Putri also gave prizes in the form of savings worth Rp.5,000,000 each to five children who have memorized 30 Juz of the Qur'an. This activity is proof that building a Qur'anic generation requires collaboration from various parties. The government, Al-Qur'an educational institutions, teachers, parents, communities, social organizations, and society all have an equal role in maintaining the spirit of young people to remain close to the Qur'an.
