DT Peduli Garut and Yayasan Subuh Akbar Wanaraja Successfully Hold Gebyar Muharram 1448 H

DTPEDULI.ORG | GARUT – The spirit of welcoming the Islamic New Year 1448 Hijriah felt so warm at the Great Mosque of Wanaraja on Sunday (28/06/2026). Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Garut together with the Management Board of the Great Mosque of Wanaraja and the Shubuh Akbar Wanaraja Foundation held the Gebyar Muharam 1448 H event which was combined with assistance for orphaned dhuafa, barokah circumcision, distribution of school supply packages, as well as the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Partners Managing Zakat Subuh Akbar Wanaraja.

This activity is part of efforts to bring real benefits to the community through collaboration in dakwah and empowerment. The event began with the implementation of congregational Subuh prayer attended by hundreds of worshippers from various backgrounds.

The atmosphere became even more lively with the presence of national storyteller, Kak Danang, who entertained while conveying moral messages to children through educational stories. The enthusiasm of participants, especially children, was evident throughout the session. On that occasion, DT Peduli Garut and the Shubuh Akbar Wanaraja Foundation distributed assistance to orphaned children and dhuafa in the form of aid and school supply packages to help meet their needs in welcoming the new school year. In addition, the Khitanan Barokah Program was also implemented as a form of concern for the health and welfare of children from underprivileged families.
