DT Peduli Together with Kemenag and Dozens of Other LAZ Organize Lebaran for Orphans and Persons with Disabilities

DTPEDULI.ORG | BANDUNG – DT Peduli participated in organizing the Lebaran Yatim and Persons with Disabilities event initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag RI) which was held simultaneously throughout Indonesia on Wednesday (25/6/2026), coinciding with 10 Muharram 1448 H. This activity involved 30 Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ) as a form of synergy and collaboration in bringing happiness to orphaned children and persons with disabilities.
One of the offline implementation points attended by DT Peduli Bandung took place at SLBN Citeureup, Cimahi. The activity served as a space for togetherness and care for participants, especially orphaned children and persons with disabilities, through various series of activities and provision of assistance.
In his remarks, Dudu Rohman, Head of the Regional Office (Kanwil) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of West Java expressed appreciation to all institutions that had supported the implementation of the activity.
"We express our gratitude to the 30 amil zakat institutions that have contributed to the success of this Lebaran Yatim and Persons with Disabilities activity. The activity carried out on 10 Muharram is a program initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs RI and today is being implemented simultaneously throughout Indonesia," he said.
The momentum of 10 Muharram itself is known as one of the special times to increase social care, especially towards orphaned children. This spirit became the basis for the launch of this program so that it not only provides material assistance, but also brings attention, happiness, and affection to the beneficiaries.
DT Peduli's participation in this activity is part of the commitment to continue expanding collaboration for good with various parties, so that the benefits provided can reach more people in need.
