DT Peduli Aceh Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Permanent Stilt House (Rupatap) Construction in Alue Kuta Village

DTPEDULI.ORG | BIREUEN – On Thursday, (12/3), became an important moment for the Community of Alue Kuta Village, Matang Pasi Hamlet, Jangka District, Bireuen Regency, as Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli Aceh held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Construction of Permanent Stilt Houses (Rupatap). Also present were Representatives of the Bireuen Regency Government, beneficiaries, and local community leaders.
This Rupatap construction program is part of DT Peduli Aceh's commitment to implementing post-disaster recovery programs following the floods that hit several areas in Aceh a few months ago. Through this program, DT Peduli seeks to help affected communities so they can once again have decent and safe housing.
DT Peduli's Chief Executive Director, Jajang Nurjaman, conveyed that the construction of Rupatap is a form of trust entrusted by donors to DT Peduli to be distributed to communities in need.
"Alhamdulillah, in Alue Kuta Village we will build 45 units of Permanent Stilt Houses with a stilt house concept. The total building area reaches 72 square meters, and in syaAllah this house is expected to be usable for a long period of time. The construction process itself is planned to take six months," said Jajang.
Dedy, one of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude and thanks for the assistance provided. "We express our deepest gratitude, by the permission of Allah SWT and through DT Peduli, our dream of having a home again can come true," he said.
Similar sentiments were also expressed by Muliadi, as Assistant I to the Bireuen Regent. He expressed appreciation for the collaboration established between DT Peduli, the Bireuen Regency Government, and the Community of Alue Kuta Village, so that the Permanent Stilt House Construction Program could be implemented.
"Thanks to the extraordinary collaboration between DT Peduli, the Bireuen Regency Government, and the Community of Alue Kuta Village, the Permanent Stilt House construction program can be realized," he said.
The presence of Permanent Stilt Houses in Alue Kuta Village is expected to serve as a safe and comfortable place to live for flood-affected communities, while also serving as a means of goodness for donors who have contributed to this humanitarian program.
