Bringing Hope and Life, DT Peduli Distributes 2,000 Food Packages for Refugees in Gaza Strip
Distribution Detail
DTPEDULI.ORG | GAZA – Daarut Tauhiid (DT) Peduli continues to distribute humanitarian aid to Palestinians affected by the conflict in Gaza Strip. The aid in the form of food packages is transported using a fleet of humanitarian trucks and distributed in the central area of Gaza Strip.
Two humanitarian trucks carrying a total of 2,000 food packages have successfully entered and distributed aid to refugees on Friday (15/5/2026). These food packages are estimated to meet basic needs for approximately 10,000 beneficiaries (PM), with the calculation that one food package is allocated for one head of household (KK) which averages five members.
"Alhamdulillah, both trucks yesterday were monitored to still be within a radius of less than two kilometers from our mosque. We hope the next eight trucks, and even other aid trucks, can move closer to our mosque area to optimize distribution," said Arif on Tuesday (19/5/2026).
The arrival of these food aid trucks was welcomed with deep emotion and gratitude by local volunteers and Palestinians in refugee camps. One of DT Peduli's volunteers in Gaza expressed that the aid sent by Indonesian donors is not merely food for survival, but a message of deep compassion.
"By the grace and generosity of Allah, a truck carrying food aid packages has arrived in Gaza. The truck carrying these aid packages not only contains food inside, but also carries hope and life for people who have experienced compassion and suffering. We are now preparing to move them to reception and evacuation centers to be distributed to our brothers and sisters," said the volunteer when escorting the arrival of the first truck.
Prayers and Gratitude from Palestinian Refugees
Expressions of joy and prayers flowed abundantly from Palestinian refugees who received these food packages. A middle-aged man in a refugee camp in Central Gaza Strip expressed deep gratitude to the donors who channeled their aid through DT Peduli.
"We thank our brothers and sisters at DT Peduli for their good and blessed efforts in supporting refugee brothers and sisters in camps in the middle of Gaza Strip, through the distribution of these aid packages. May Allah reward them with all goodness, and may it become a field of reward on the scale of their good deeds, bismillah ta'ala," he said sincerely.
"May Allah bless the people of Indonesia, and may Allah reward you with all goodness. May God always enable you to do good, give you health, and may you always remember us with goodness," he said with hope. Joy also radiated from the face of a little girl at the evacuation site who cheerfully said, "Syukran mubarik (thank you, may it be blessed)."
DT Peduli is committed to continuing to oversee the trust of Indonesian society's compassion in this international humanitarian program. Support through prayers and the best donations from donors is hoped to continue flowing to alleviate the suffering and keep the flame of hope alive for Muslim brothers and sisters in Gaza Strip, Palestine.
