Alhamdulillah, Shandra is Finally Ready to Graduate!

DTPEDULI.ORG | BEKASI – Shandra's (22) footsteps toward the final examination room felt lighter on Monday (29/6/2026). This eighth-semester student of the Psychology Department at Islamic University 45 (Unisma) Bekasi was preparing to face her final exam to earn her bachelor's degree. She plans to officially graduate in November.

Behind her optimistic smile lies a long story of struggle filled with miracles and unwavering determination.

"At that time, I was in a position where I had to choose between continuing my studies or taking a leave of absence," Shandra recalled.

Amid financial anxiety, Shandra did not give up. She continued to achieve the best results in every semester and remained active in the Student Association and various projects with lecturers.

For Shandra, every experience is an investment to seize better opportunities. Her greatest motivation at that time was just one: to find a scholarship path so that her dream of becoming a psychologist would not fade halfway.

Shandra then learned about the DT Peduli Student Scholarship Program.

"Alhamdulillah, I felt this was one form of Allah's help that opened the way for me to continue my education and complete my studies on time," she said with gratitude.

After officially becoming a DT Peduli Scholarship beneficiary for the past year, Shandra immediately felt major changes. The burden of worry that had weighed on her shoulders was instantly lifted.

More than just tuition assistance, Shandra acknowledged that she gained an extraordinary space to grow through various mentoring programs organized by DT Peduli.

"From these activities, I learned many new things, expanded my network, and gained insights that are very beneficial for personal development, both academically and personally," she added.

Now, with a tempered spirit, Shandra looks toward her future with clear targets. After graduating in November, she is determined to immediately enter the workforce before the formal graduation ceremony takes place. Not stopping there, Shandra also plans to continue her studies to the Professional Psychology Education level in order to provide broader benefits to society.

Closing her story, Shandra expressed deep gratitude to DT Peduli and the donors who have been a bridge of goodness for her dreams. She hopes the scholarship program she received will continue to run and reach more students who are struggling.

"May all the goodness given become amal jariyah and be rewarded with blessings, health, and ease in all matters," Shandra concluded with her gratitude and hopes.
