From a Humble Boarding Room to a Center of Goodness for the Ummah

In 1986, the da'wah journey of KH. Abdullah Gymnastiar (Aa Gym) began in a modest boarding room in Gegerkalong, Bandung.

As the congregation continued to grow, this small study circle gave birth to Daarut Tauhiid Foundation in 1990 and Daarut Tauhiid Mosque in 1993, built through the collective efforts of countless worshippers. Because it was built hand in hand by so many people, it became known as "The Mosque of a Thousand Hands."

A Mosque Filled with Life
Today, the mosque serves as a vibrant center for daily prayers, Islamic studies, education, and community activities.

When the Space Is No Longer Enough
On many occasions, especially during peak prayer times and major gatherings, worshippers are forced to pray outside because the main prayer hall has reached its full capacity.

Continuing the Legacy of Goodness
Through the Daarut Tauhiid Gegerkalong Mosque Expansion Waqf, we can work together to provide a larger, more comfortable, and more welcoming place of worship for today's congregation and future generations.

Be Part of This Lasting Legacy
Every waqf becomes a continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah), bringing ongoing rewards through every prayer, every recitation of the Qur'an, and every act of learning that takes place within this mosque.
Give your best through waqf. Together, let us expand the House of Allah for the benefit of the Ummah.
